First Annual Art Show - Sponsored by Sycamore Arts

Congratulations To All Of The Art Students Who Participated!

Sycamore Arts recently held their first annual student art contest. Each school was invited to participate. The student reception was held Friday, April 1 at NWCC Atrium. Local Art teachers working with the students were Mrs. Jean Bennett, SHS, Mrs. Carol Givens, SMS, Mrs. Tanya Warner, East Tate Elementary, and Mrs. Betty Shingler, Strayhorn School. Some participating were left Austin Baker, SMS: Michael Williams, East Tate and Reagan Belk, East Tate Elementary.

Award Winners:

First place receives $100 savings bond; 2nd receives $50 savings bond; 3rd receives $25 gift certificate.

Thank You NWCC for your wonderful venue and Thank You to the Fine Arts Dept. for all of your help and consideration. The reception on Friday night was well attended and all of fun. Plans are being made for a Show next March.
