Sycamore Arts is a growing non-profit arts agency serving Tate and surrounding counties. Our mission is to encourage new and existing organizations to foster new artistic experiences within the community and to make cultural activities and arts education accessible to all. In addition to offering programs as a part of an annual presentation season, SA works with area schools, churches, and civic organizations to provide arts education programs, youth summer camps and artistic residencies.

For 25 years, Sycamore Arts has remained the only Tate County organization consistenly offering quality arts events and arts education to our community. Our success is based on your commitment to our objectives. We remain grateful for your support and it is our hope you will find our upcoming programs and projects worthy of your attention.

Sycamore Arts continues to offer quality arts events and sponsor arts in our schools without increasing our membership fees.  We hope you will join us in our commitment to a better future for our community through the Arts.

Plans for 2009 - 2010 include the following:

• Continue Liaison Board for better communication with community at large.
• Continue “Define the Arts” Contest w/The Democrat
• Support Convalescent Home Pottery Program
• Sponsor Art Show during NWCC Presentations
• Annual Kids’ Coloring Contest w/The Democrat – November 2009
• Annual Christmas Musicale – Senatobia Jr. High Auditorium – December 2009
• Coldwater Mural Project - Spring 2010
• Sponsor Baddour Christmas Card Design & Sales
• 3rd Annual “Artistic Expressions” Art Show & Contest – People’s Bank – May 2010
• Special Spring Music Concert – Celebrating Senatobia’s Sesquicentennial – NWCC Auditorium
• Partner w/TCEDF for Mayfair Pickin’ in the Park Music Concert @ Gabbert Park – May 8, 2010
• Sponsor “Folklorist History” of Senatobia/Tate county for Sesquicentennial Celebration
• End of the Year Celebration –  Date & Venue TBA
